Study conducted by a Graduate scholar of M.I.T. Sloan School of Management USA analysed & ascertained the positive impact of the program on the academic performance of school children, particularly in the academic scores of Mathematics, and Language. The study was conducted with a controlled and uncontrolled group of students and their academic performance improvement tracked for a period of 6 months.
As shown below, the results indicated a high degree of statistical correlation between THOTS Program thinking development process & quantified improvements in academic scores.
Like, in Mathematics, 76% of the students reflected an improvement by as high as 4 ranks in the class, just after 6 months of exposure to the program vis-a-vis the students who did not undergo the THOTS Program.
That is why in THOTS program, we directly focus on the Higher Order Thinking development process and not on the delivery of academic subjects as the schools are already doing so. Hence, the program acts as a supplement to the school’s efforts in developing overall performance of the children which is visible to the school teachers and the parents within first 3 months of program implementation.
